There’s more to date night than the old dinner-and-a-movie routine. Believe it or not, fans of yoga and delicious food have managed to take the old supper club model and turn it into an exciting way to get your poses in, eat a fantastic meal, and meet likeminded yogis.
The folks behind The Good Yoga Life, which offers in-person yoga classes at two venues in Shoreditch, are the masterminds behind the Yoga Supper Club. In a nutshell, participants purchase tickets to reserve their spot in the upcoming event and then engage in an uplifting practice that night followed by a healthy, ethical dinner that’s vegetarian and prepared by a professional chef.
Yoga Supper Clubs happen all over London, including Walthamstow and Hackney Downs, and take place at different restaurants that can accommodate a full-size yoga class. Previous locations have included Portobello and Cambridge Heath.
All yoga levels are welcome. Tickets are £35 per person and advanced registration is required.
