Shades of grey: Incorporate one of the year’s hottest colours into you

It’s a never-ending #ThrowBackThursday when it comes to Pantone’s autumn 2015 colour trend predictions and we here at Zelle Studio have you covered if you’re looking to incorporate three of autumn’s hottest colours in your autumn wardrobe.

The range of colours include warm and toasty orange and yellows, dusty roses and a series of pared down neutral greys, khakis and sandstone.

“The colours are evocative of a love for nature and a timeless appreciation for warmth and security," Pantone said in a statement.

Two of the ten predicted colours are mainstays in our initial collection—“stormy weather” and “desert sage”— and can help propel you from the warm summer months (featuring bright, bold colours) into a more neutral-friendly and earth-toned fall.

“Stormy weather,” a deep shade of grey, implies luxury and quality—the cornerstones of the Zelle Studio line and pieces like the Kendall Quarter-Sleeve V-neck sweater, for example. Deep greys are easy to accessorise and can pair well with other subdued neutrals or little pops of bright red or even Pantone’s 2015 colour of the year—marsala.
